In October, Brice had the opportunity to lead a team of staff and volunteers who served a partner church in Vevey, Switzerland during their annual retreat. The team led activities and teaching for around forty middle school and high school students.
After the Switzerland trip, the whole family spent a few vacation days in Italy before Brice had meetings in Zurich. He met with with parents and church leaders who have a desire to start ministry with international teens in their community.
A week after returning from Zurich, Brice headed to Croatia to scout a new location for Project Compassion, our week-long service project. He met with individuals and organizations in a couple of locations to see how the Project Compassion students might best serve those in extreme poverty in the area. The great news is that there are some key needs that our students can meet and we’ll be headed there in April.
Locally, we’ve been able to engage more middle school and high school students. We also have some great volunteers who have joined us and made a tremendous impact. Every other week we meet with a group of high school juniors and seniors who have a desire to grow deeper in their relationships with Christ, reach their friends, and serve those around them. Watching them grow has been a highlight of the season!
In the upcoming weeks we’ll help host a Christmas Market celebration and work with students to put together gift bags and distribute them to the homeless in downtown Frankfurt.
All of this is possible because of you and the rest of the team of people who prays for us, supports us financially, and shares with others what we’re doing.
We do still have a financial need to complete the work we’ve been called to across Europe. If you’d like to give a tax-deductible, end-of-the-year gift, please visit our Giving Page.
